Free quote builder
Plan your window project.
Count what you would replace and add the details that apply. Your project carries straight into the quote request form, so all that is left is your contact details.
How to use it
Walk the house first.
Start in the room that bothers you most and work outward. Count every opening you would want done, even the ones you are unsure about — it costs nothing to include them now and drop them later.
If you cannot tell a double-hung from a single-hung, look at the top sash. If it moves, it is a double-hung. If only the bottom half slides up, it is a single-hung.
- Count the openings. Group them by window type, not by room.
- Choose a window line. Cascade is the standard window; Milgard is the step up.
- Flag the complications. Upstairs access, arched or custom shapes, and any soft or rotten sills.
- Send it to us. Your project fills in the quote request; add your contact details and send.
Common questions
What does window replacement cost in Vancouver, WA?
It depends far more on the opening than on the window. A sound opening on the ground floor is the simplest job. Openings that need more work, upstairs access, custom shapes, and any rot at the sill all add to it. We do not publish prices: you tell us what you would replace, we measure, and the written estimate gives you the real number.
Why do you not list prices?
Because a single number would be wrong for most houses. Two identical-looking windows can differ once you account for the condition of the opening, how it is flashed, and what the trim has to match. We would rather measure your openings and give you a number that is right for your house.
Why do two similar windows cost different amounts?
Because the opening decides the scope. A sound, square opening takes less work than one that is rotten, out of square, or leaking, and the right fix for a bad opening costs more. That is why we measure every opening and put the approach for each one in the written estimate.
Do I have to give an email to use this?
No. Counting your openings runs entirely in your browser and nothing is sent anywhere. When you want a quote, your project carries into the request form, which asks for your name, phone, and city. Email is optional, and sending it is your choice.
Does the federal tax credit still cover windows?
No. The federal 25C energy-efficient home improvement credit ended for installs after December 31, 2025. Anyone still advertising it for a current project is quoting a dead program. Local utility rebates may still apply.
